# 3. Canonical Governance Architecture

The LPP × Mind Universe reference architecture separates governance into distinct planes so that no single component silently acquires authority outside its defined role.

The architecture is designed around four fundamental questions:

1. **Where did authority and intent originate?**
2. **What action is being proposed?**
3. **Does that action remain admissible?**
4. **Why was execution allowed or refused?**

These questions correspond to different governance responsibilities.

They should not be collapsed into a single generic “AI safety check.”

The canonical architecture therefore separates:

* legitimate authority,
* semantic and task governance,
* action-candidate formation,
* intent preservation,
* verification evidence,
* constitutional admission,
* execution authorization,
* operational execution,
* and reconstructable evidence.

The complete governance path is:

```
Human / Institutional Authority
        ↓
Authority Object + Human-Authorized Intent
        ↓
Authority–Intent Binding
This sequence is the canonical reference path for LPP × Mind Universe Public Documentation v2.0.
It does not imply that every deployment must implement every Mind Universe component.
LPP may be integrated independently into external agent, enterprise, financial, cyber, or physical-AI environments.
What must remain preserved is the governance relationship:
> **Authority and authorized meaning remain upstream.**
> **Constitutional admissibility precedes execution permission.**
> **Execution cannot create its own legitimacy.**
> **Consequential decisions remain reconstructable through evidence.**
