# 2.6 LPP vs Mind Universe

LPP and Mind Universe are related.

They are not the same system.

The canonical distinction is:

> **LPP = Constitutional Protocol**

> **Mind Universe = Governance Architecture**

#### LPP

LPP defines the constitutional admissibility boundary.

Its primary concern is:

```
Authority
→ Intent
→ Admissibility
→ Permit
→ Execution
→ Evidence
```

LPP determines whether an action has the legitimacy required to enter execution governance.

#### Mind Universe

Mind Universe is the broader AI governance architecture.

It addresses a longer path involving:

```
Source
→ Semantics
→ Intent
→ Task
→ Action Candidate
→ Authority
→ Admission
→ Execution
→ Evidence
```

Its reference governance components include:

* SourceMind,
* FaithLocked,
* Jarvis Governance Kernel,
* TaskChain Engine,
* ActuMind,
* Semantic Verification,
* SVNN,
* LPP Admission Kernel,
* Execution Plane,
* and evidence mechanisms.

The detailed responsibilities of these systems are specified later in this documentation.

#### Different Responsibilities

The separation is important.

**SourceMind** addresses source provenance and input trust.

**FaithLocked** addresses semantic integrity and semantic governance.

**Jarvis / TaskChain** governs task structure, task evolution, and orchestration.

**ActuMind** evaluates action consequence and execution readiness.

**Semantic Verification / SVNN** may provide verification evidence.

**LPP Admission Kernel** determines Layer 0 constitutional admissibility.

**Execution systems** execute only under applicable downstream conditions.

No subsystem should silently absorb another subsystem's authority.

#### LPP Can Be Adopted Independently

Deploying LPP does not require deployment of the entire Mind Universe stack.

An external system may provide its own:

* identity infrastructure,
* policy engine,
* task orchestrator,
* source-governance mechanisms,
* runtime security,
* execution infrastructure,
* and evidence systems,

while integrating LPP-compatible authority and admission semantics.

This modular boundary is deliberate.

Mind Universe provides the broader reference governance architecture.

LPP defines the constitutional protocol.
